I've worked with a wide range of patients β from new moms balancing wellness and a newborn to vulnerable populations struggling with their mental and physical health. I've helped patients manage specific health conditions like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, among others.
I earned my Bachelorβs in Health Science from SUNY Cortland and Masterβs in Nutrition Science and Dietetics from Syracuse University. During my dietetic internship in Virginia Beach, I gained experience working with clients in a nutrition and fitness studio, broadened my knowledge in clinical care while at multiple hospitals and also spent time working in foodservice management on a local college campus. After passing the registration exam and obtaining the Registered Dietitian (RD) credential, I began her nutrition career at Upstate Medical Hospital working in the general medicine, intensive care, psychiatry and rehabilitation units, but specialized in hematology/oncology. Most recently, I taught nutrition education to homebound patients for St. Josephβs Health Home Care.
Personally, I rely on my knowledge to manage my own digestive health struggles and improve my gut health and quality of life. I have concentrated on sports nutrition to help myself and my clients achieve fitness goals. I LOVE staying active; biking, resistance training, kickboxing and hiking. I am passionate about helping clients get started on their healthy lifestyle journey. I understand the importance of meeting a client where they are and devising the appropriate plan to help them reach their goals
